Increasing Technology Access for Tennessee Students

The NTC Technology Lending Library is a free resource available to local school educators to borrow devices for classroom instruction, supporting tech education from an early age.

Tech Learning Should Be Fun

Launched in 2016 as a component of the NTC Hour of Code initiative, the Technology Lending Library provides educators with the tools they need to teach students how to code. This increased access makes tech education more approachable for schools, and more fun for students.

All of this is made possible by generous donations from technology companies across the state. As a result, more than 2,500 students have learned to program using robots from the library. By starting this training early via the library, NTCF helps prepare the next generation of technology experts to drive innovation in our state.

Donors: A Small Investment Goes a Long Way

The NTC Technology Lending Library focuses its efforts on under-resourced schools where educators typically have to personally fund these devices. When you donate to the library, you remove this financial burden and help strengthen tech education math and science curriculums across the state.

Supplying a device for the library is a simple way your organization can be involved in growing the Middle Tennessee technology industry. This small investment can have a lasting impact on the students who use the devices to grow their technology knowledge and acquire valuable skills that can take them through college and beyond.
